Obegi Consumer Products s.a.l. handles one of the largest selection of frozen food products in Lebanon, a market where the consumption of these is steadily growing thanks to the modernization of its trade structure, resulting from the implantation and growth of large food store chains. Our portfolio includes the full range of Emborg, Danish and international products, and specialty items such as Jus Rol pastries. Marketed under two brands, namely Emborg and Al Wadi Al Akhdar, we lead by far the frozen vegetable category with a clear 35 percent market share and as such, bring an extensive variety of high quality products, ranging from garden peas, hand picked baby okra to french fries to the lebanese consumers table. We are the main suppliers of Lebanon's favourite Kashkaval cheese under our house brand "Bihar". In the past three years we grew this category to include a wide variety of cheeses such as Bulgarian White, Greek Feta, Dutch Gouda and Edam, under multinational leading names such as Frico and Kolios. We took this category one step further to include as well a range of hams, mortadella, sausages and salamis from different origins marketed under leading europeans brands such as Beretta and Tulip. With 1350 square meters of cold room and freezer space in Lebanon, plus a fleet of refrigerated vans, logistica sal's cold chain ensures point-to-point safety and freshness, as well as on-time delivery. No wonder we were appointed Mc Donald's distribution center for Lebanon in 1998.
