Founded in 1959 and headquartered in Lebanon, Obegi Consumer Products Holding (OCPH) is a leading regional consumer products group affiliated with Obegi Group. The Group specializes in the development, marketing, sales, and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), partnering with leading international and regional brands across food, confectionery, personal care and hygiene, beauty, laundry and home care, and consumer solutions.
Over more than six decades, OCPH has established itself as a trusted long-term partner in complex and evolving markets, combining deep local market expertise with disciplined execution and professional operational capabilities. This positioning has enabled the Group to build durable relationships with global principals while consistently delivering value across its markets.
A defining milestone in the Group’s history occurred in 1974, when OCPH entered its first strategic joint venture with Henkel KGaA through the establishment of Henkel Lebanon. This partnership was subsequently expanded in 2002 to cover the wider Levant region, reflecting OCPH’s ability to support multinational partners through scalable and structured regional platforms.
In 1979, OCPH reinforced its long-term brand-building strategy with the launch of Al Wadi Al Akhdar, its flagship in-house brand. Over time, Al Wadi Al Akhdar has grown into one of the region’s most recognized, trusted, and loved food brands, illustrating the Group’s capacity to develop and sustain proprietary brands alongside international partnerships.
In 1998, OCPH was appointed as the official distribution center for McDonald’s in Lebanon. This mandate marked a turning point in the Group’s logistics capabilities and led to the creation of Logistica, a dedicated logistics arm that has since evolved into a third-party provider of integrated supply chain and logistics services operating to international standards.
The Group’s geographic expansion began in 1999 with its extension across the Levant, followed in 2014 by the establishment of OCP Iraq. Within a short period, OCP Iraq became one of the fastest-growing FMCG distribution platforms in the country, representing a broad portfolio of leading international suppliers and brands.
Today, OCPH manages a diversified portfolio and operates through a group of well-established entities active across food, laundry and home care, and supply chain services. These include Obegi Consumer Products, Obegi Consumer & Home Solutions, Logistica, Henkel Levant, and Al Wadi Al Akhdar.
